Eurospeak Academy 11+ Courses
All these courses focus on the actual components of the 11+, rather than generalising the subject areas. Verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, English and maths are all covered in these 2.5 hour sessions. The class teacher will elicit answers and carry out regular comprehension checks to make sure your child is retaining new knowledge. Students will be encouraged to use Spaced Retrieval to reach optimum preparation for the exam. All the courses contain the same 11+ elements but are progressively more difficult and extensive for each year. Year 4 and Year 5 also have a greater emphasis on creative writing, especially grammar, vocabulary and how to use more sophisticated structures. This lexical awareness helps with English and verbal reasoning.
