The School – Established 1991
Eurospeak has been teaching English to university students, young learners, entrepreneurs, asylum seekers, immigrants for over 30 years. We are the only school in Berkshire which is both British Council and ISI approved. Last year we set up as an 11+ centre where we can share our experience in preparing tens of thousands of students for exam success. In terms of academic rigour and the emotional mindset needed to pass exams we offer all our tips and secrets.
Student Centered Approach
You probably know the Benjamin Franklin quote “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn’’ We firmly believe that ‘lecturing’ to students while they stare out the window is no substitute for getting them to think and solve problems. That is why in our lessons the teacher is a facilitator of the student’s learning, and questions them constantly to check for comprehension and the type of cognition required to solve 11+ exam problems.
